Dear Families,
Thank you for the trust you have placed in the Learning Enrichment Foundation. Re-opening safely over the summer was possible because we trusted each other, and we all adhered to public health and safety measures which ensure child care settings remain safeplaces. As we approach the holiday season,we continue to move at the speed of trust with all our families, educators and senior leaders in our Children & Families' team. As you will, we will be keeping public health's guidelines foremost in our minds. They work. We have seen it first-hand"

The holidays are going to look different this year and we understand there may be challenges as the winter break approaches, but we encourage all families to consider how we can work together to make this time as safe as possible and start 2021 ofl right. As an organization, LEF will be closed December 25 through to and including January 3, 2021. We look forward to welcoming children back to care Monday, January 4, 2021.

During the holidays, it is important for everyone to adhere to public health measures while heading out for essential supplies, while at home with family, and while at your place of
work. By following public health advice, we can all have a safe and fun holiday season. You can check the government's holiday web page for more direct and up-to-date guidance on how individuals and families can plan for a safe holiday season.

As a reminder, individuals showing symptoms of illness should not attend child care programs. All children and educators will continue to be screened for symptoms of illness
every day before attending child care. To help meet this requirement and facilitate quick access to your centre, please continue to use the LEF screening tool.

We encourage you to visit toronto.ca/covid-19 to learn about the public health measures in place in our community and remind you that these measures could change depending on public health trends, so please visit the website regularly. We also suggest checking as they will also have helpful resources and supports.

lf you have any questions about what the Learning Enrichment Foundation is doing to protect your children in response to COVID-19, please reach out to your centre supervisor.

On behalf of all the team at The Learning Enrichment Foundation, please accept my very best wishes for a safe and healthy holidayl We look forward to continuing work with your family throughout 2021. We all still have a long journey to take together, and we remain confident in our joint trust in each other.

Together Stronger,

Sincerely,

Peter Frampton,
