Parents will be charged an emergency child care fee for care that is provided after Centre closing hours. This is payable to the staff on duty at the time of pick up.
First Late 10 minute grace period
After 10 minutes $1.00 per minute
The grace period only applies to the first time you are late.
Any subsequent late pick up will be $15.00 for the first 10 minutes and $1.00 per minute after that.
Example: Pick up at 6:03 – Charge $15.00
Pick up at 6:13 – Charge $18.00
If by 7:30 p.m. the staff has been unable to contact the child’s parent or emergency contact person, the Children’s Aid Society will be called.
Continuous late pick-ups will result in a withdrawal from the Program.
*Please note – instances where a pick up/drop off time is in question, the time on the child care clock will be the one to determine opening/closing times.
