The Learning Enrichment Foundation is committed to the implementation of ‘How Does Learning Happen’ (Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years) and supports a program that is inclusive of all children; this includes children with special needs, race, religion, language, culture, and/or family dynamics. L.E.F. strives to ensure all children have access to all of L.E.F.’s Child Care Programs.

The Learning Enrichment Foundation and Toronto Children Services are providing families with a variety of services to meet individual needs and support, with every opportunity to succeed. Upon identifying that your child(ren) will require support, a support plan will be put in place in collaboration with the Special Needs Resource Consultant for that centre.

Services include:

  • Regular visits
  • Coordination of team meetings
  • Individual consultation/Intensive support
  • Early identification and intervention
  • IPP (Individual Program Plan)
  • Staff training and workshops
  • Referral to a wide range of family resources (i.e. assistance in finding free programs in your community or any or all of our partner community agencies including Macaulay Child Development Centre, Community Living Toronto, Toronto Preschool Speech and Language, Surrey Place as well as TPAS (Toronto Preschool Autism Services)
