Jewellery
For safety reasons, such as choking, cuts or bruises, we ask that your child not wear jewellery to the Centre. The Child Care Centre and/or Staff will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged jewellery.
Clothing
Please label all clothing and other articles clearly with your child’s name. All children have a basket where a change of clothes, diapers and other personal articles can be kept and individual “cubbies” are also provided for outdoor clothing. The baskets and “cubbies” are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Although we will do our best to ensure that your child’s clothing is kept safe, the Centre and staff will not be held responsible for your child’s clothing.
Student Involvement
The Centre is a training environment for the students of the Early Childhood Assistant Training program offered by The Learning Enrichment Foundation. We also accept students from various Colleges who are training to be Early Childhood Educators.
The Centre provides a valuable work experience for student educators and we are able to take advantage of their many talents and resources.
The students are placed in the Centre three days a week for six weeks and we ask parental assistance in making them feel welcome.
